A fair number of pieces have been sold in my store, including five that were on reserve for Irene, a customer from China who has bought a collection of pieces of mine. I wish I would sell so much each week! how wonderful that would be. In other news, the interview in the magazine "jewelry world" (Mundo Joyero) is already published, it ended up being a four page spread with lots of interesting pictures and the interview is very neat, it makes me sound so interesting and smart. I will post some pictures from it as soon as I get my magazine back, I lent it to a teacher.

About my class
I forgot to mention that I am taking an organic casting class this fall, it is part of the continuing studies at the Vancouver School Board, and it is about making casts of organic materials - leaves, pine cones, liken and the such - to make them into sterling silver. It is loads of fun.

Hansel and Gretel
Remember the ring with a hand-painted doll's head that I posted yesterday? I sold it overnight to an Etsy costumer. My new two pieces are doll's heads inspired in the story of Hansel and Gretel.

Doll galore
I received a big shipment of antique German dolls' heads and I have been playing with them. The most difficult part about working with these dolls is actually making the holes to hang them, my dremel bits are just not strong enough.
