This is the last one of the assemblage rings I made. I love it so much I may keep it. It is made with a vintage rhinestone miniature brooch and an antiqued brass filigree ring.

Work and more work
This is my newest work. In these, I am integrating crystals that I have soldered myself in various ways. I am going for an avant-garde Victorian tribal feel to the pieces. I am also integrating pyrite, freshwater pearls, and plenty of semiprecious stones.

I really like this one, it is called "Red and crystal".
This one is the most tribal one.

Anyways, I have been working a lot and I just love it. I am very pleased with the results.

Jojo's wedding

My dearest friend Jordanna is getting married in August. I am so excited for her, and honored that she wants to wear a piece of my jewelry on that very special day. I have been making pieces thinking of a bridal vibe since I found out about the wedding, since she wants her partner to also wear one of my pieces. I am shortlisting the most funky and unusual ones, yet with a bridal vibe for her to try on. I need some feedback! which pieces would go better with her awesome presence and ever expanding personality.

Mysterious pieces
My latest pieces are more bold and mysterious than ever before, and this piece is my favorite. It is crafted carefully and has a beautiful doll of a slightly bigger size with a defined face. I have also used ribbons and wire, and lots of Swarovski crystal. I like the contrast of the cherry red and the green, and the doll's arms are branch coral.

Visit from Safi
My friend Safi came today to buy a present for a friend of hers that is turning 30, and she picked this beautiful piece. I was happy to see it go with her.

New work

This is some of my new work I have been making since coming back from Mexico. It is more romantic and elaborate than before, I think. I am using a bunch of Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls. I will have a show soon!

Jewelry in Mexico
I haven't written in such a long time. Well, I am in Mexico, and I came here for a gallery show. My surreal series with the German dolls was very well received here, as if Mexicans found weird jewelry more appealing. I am happy with the reception, and will post some images soon.

Venetian baroque mixed media assamblages
Naufus said my new series with the dolls was Venetian, because of the crystal and the white figures. A little baroque, but contemporary. Some more pieces to view.

Better pictures of these works made with antique bisque and porcelain dolls from Germany, un-earthed near the toy factory in Thuringia. These dolls were made in the 1890s and buried, and now people are selling them online. I am integrating them to my works and like them very much. Pushing the medium on jewelry a bit, I am very inspired to create a new series.
